I have been using this font recently for some of my uni work, it describes the typeface as
"A little industrial, little vintage, little condensed, little bold."

Tim Walker

Tim is one of my favourite contemporary photographers, he has such a recognisable style which I love. Here is a link to his website http://www.timwalkerphotography.com/  I want him to have another exhibition soon - His one at the Design museum in London a couple of years ago was great! Here's some of his photographs.

This last photo reminds me of one of those recent Smirnoff adverts or a Florence and the machines videos.

Alice in Wonderland-esque art college proj.

Here is an illustration project I did when I was at art college. I was looking initially at some of the wonderful fictional creatures described of in the book Alice in Wonderland, such as the "Rocking horse fly" and then developed this idea looking at creating hybrid type creatures out of tea party objects and food. I produced my final piece using pen and ink straight onto a 'tea party' scene.

Apologies for the poor quality of photography here - Only had a phone at the time to get these photos!

Here are some of my sketch book pages from the project.

Leeds. Buildings.

Here is a series of photographs that I took of various buildings around Leeds that interested me, looking at their different angles and structures.
